Lifegroups are the backbone of our church. They’re where people are known, cared for, and supported through every season of life. In these spaces, people don’t just grow in their faith — they experience encouragement in hard times, prayer in moments of need, and genuine community that walks with them.
In Galatians 6:2 we’re reminded to “carry each other’s burdens,” and as Lifegroup leaders, we often find ourselves on the front line of that care. But we were never meant to carry everything alone.
This training workshop is designed to equip you in the area of pastoral care — helping you understand how to support people well, what healthy boundaries look like, and how to discern what is yours to carry and what needs to be shared. We’ll also talk about when and how to seek additional support, so that no one is left feeling overwhelmed or unsupported.
Lunch will be provided and we’ll get started in the Auditorium after the 11am service at around 12:45pm.
There won’t be any child minding, but we will have a kids station set up at the back of the auditorium with activities to help keep the kiddos entertained.
